OverviewSafety
The 2009 Audi Q7's standard safety apparatus includes antilock brakes, a stability control system with hill-descent control and rollover detection, traction control, active front head restrainers, full-length side curtain airbags and front-seat side airbags. Seat-mounted side airbags for the second row are optional. Additionally, Audi's blind-spot caution system warns the driver when another car is along the Q7's side. Optional lane aid warns the driver if the automobile drifts out of its lane.
Internal design and Special Features
Like all Audis, the Q7 ranks high in interior materials, build quality. The dash layout is driver-oriented, Audi’s MMI (on trims so provided) is comparatively easy to utilise once you have had some practice. The quantity of interior space is dependent on seating configuration; while the second row is comparatively spacious, the optional 3rd row is cramped and can only easily seat youngsters or tiny adults -- which are a little disappointing, considering the Q7's size. With the second third rows folded flat, the 2009 Audi Q7 has just 72.5 cubic feet of load space, which is unimpressive compared to other crossovers in its class.
Q7 3.0 TDI clean diesel quattro (2009- )
It's a version of 3.0 TDI with selective catalytic reduction. CO2 emission was reduced to 234 g / km with EU Dollar six validations, but the automobile is 50 kg (110 lb) heavier. It has been said that at 72.5MPH the Audi Q7 TDI will get 29+ mpg (diesel).
